The Difference Between Efficiency & Effectiveness

Efficiency

- is quick

- is creative to find new ways to get to the same outcome faster

- leans toward being productive

- is direct

- can save time or money

- is needed

Effectiveness

- is not binary

- goes the extra mile

- is human

- makes a difference

- looks towards long term success

You can have both but you should never confuse the two.

Make a difference. Be efficient but don’t forsake being effective.
